What you will do

• Build shared infrastructure and tools that enable developers to ship faster using AI.
• Develop agentic coding workflows, managing context and environment safety for AI agents.
• Design systems with a platform mindset, balancing quick experiments with durable, maintainable tooling.
• Observe and diagnose developer friction points like CI noise, PR latency, and review churn.
• Drive the adoption of agent-authored code, setting standards for how the organization builds with AI.
• Communicate proactively within a distributed team to maintain alignment and surface risks.

Requirements

• Deep experience designing systems that other developers depend on.
• Hands-on daily experience building with agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proven track record of building production-grade systems from the ground up.
• Experience working across large, long-lived codebases with multiple teams.
• Comfort with TypeScript; experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Bias to action and a collaborative, teaching-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with evals, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
• Background in observability and quality measurement for non-deterministic systems.
• Experience implementing guardrails for autonomous agents.
