Salary: $202,437 – $318,425

What you will do

• Set the technical vision for AI integration across the software development lifecycle.
• Prototype and write code for the most challenging components of AI infrastructure.
• Develop foundational systems for measuring AI effectiveness, context, and reliability at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape internal tools and customer-facing AI capabilities.
• Mentor senior and principal engineers to raise the technical ceiling of the organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on technical leadership with end-to-end SDLC ownership.
• Proven track record of setting technical direction across an entire function or organization.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or applied AI.
• Ability to maintain high technical depth and write production-quality code.
• Strong judgment regarding cost, scale, and ROI for engineering initiatives.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI developer tools.
• Background in developer experience (DevEx), productivity, or CI/CD infrastructure.
