TL;DR

Intermediate Software Engineer (MuleSoft, Node.js): Building and maintaining integration services for a large payroll and HR platform with an accent on API development and system modernization. Focus on migrating legacy .NET and Node.js services to MuleSoft and ensuring seamless third-party integrations.

Location: Remote in Latin America

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party systems.
  • Contribute to the migration of existing integrations from .NET and Node.js to MuleSoft.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in existing .NET and Node.js applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver integration projects.
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • 6+ months of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
  • English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) required.
  • Must be based in Latin America.
  • Strong understanding of OOP and experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
  • Ability to read and understand Node.js code.

Nice to have

  • Experience reading .NET code or working with .NET applications.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
  • Experience using AI tools in day-to-day development.
