What you will do

• Design and develop backend, service, and portal systems for payment processing.
• Work with modern software techniques including BDD, CI/CD, and AI-driven development.
• Deliver high-quality, innovative solutions based on merchant and partner needs.
• Improve development processes and tools through automation and simplification.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery.
• Assist with software deployment activities from test environments to production.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven production experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVC architecture.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience writing automated tests using RSpec or Minitest.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JavaScript and React.
