What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS services, MWAA Airflow, Snowflake, Git, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with data pipelines and related systems.
• Stay current with data engineering industry trends and best practices.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for data engineering processes and systems.

Requirements

• Working experience applying SQL and Python (NumPy, SciPy, pandas) to solve business challenges.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, MWAA Airflow, S3, EC2, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git Actions, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of data structures (JSON, XML, or equivalent).
• Experience with automated testing (regression tests).
• Must be based out of the Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL offices; visa sponsorship is not available.
