What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable, and innovative AI and GenAI solutions.
• Set the technical direction for the AI Platform and influence architectural decisions across teams.
• Build production-grade systems using Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers to raise the bar for code quality and technical excellence.
• Take full ownership of projects end-to-end in a DevOps model, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with product managers and data scientists to deliver cohesive AI-driven business solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery, and modern design patterns.
• Significant experience building AI/ML or GenAI applications, including hands-on experience with LLMs.
• Proficiency with frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Location: Must be based in Bulgaria

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP technologies (VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow).
• Deep familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or knowledge of C#, Java, or Scala.
