What you will do

• Develop and apply computational models to predict the behavior of mechanical systems and components.
• Perform finite element and multiphysics simulations for product design, optimization, and validation.
• Translate technical requirements into effective simulation strategies with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Interpret simulation results and provide actionable engineering recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Support virtual prototyping, numerical analysis, design optimization, and continuous improvement of simulation workflows.
• Monitor emerging modeling techniques, numerical methods, and engineering software.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of solid mechanics, structural analysis, dynamics, or multiphysics simulation.
• Experience with computational modeling techniques and numerical methods.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as Abaqus, ANSYS, COMSOL Multiphysics, MSC Marc, OpenFOAM, or LS-DYNA.
• Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and communicate practical recommendations.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting experience with Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar languages.
• Additional European languages.
