What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and refine business and technical requirements in direct collaboration with the client.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ELT processes in Snowflake.
• Build complex data transformations using dbt and Jinja templating.
• Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team through code reviews and enforcement of best practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues by performing root-cause analysis and driving timely remediation.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across the platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Snowflake.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Proven experience in a lead or senior data engineering role, including team leadership and mentoring.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (including Jinja), Apache Airflow, and Apache Kafka.
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher required.
