Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Build databases, data lakes, and data ingestion pipelines for project datasets.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions for data and data science models.
• Develop and maintain scalable data and machine learning solutions across the data lifecycle.
• Support database, pipeline, metadata, infrastructure, and code management.
• Collaborate with data platform, architecture, development, and operations stakeholders.
• Address data security, privacy, and third-party coordination.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, SQL, and ETL, including data validation, mapping, and exception handling.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Fabric.
• Practical experience with PySpark; a pet project is acceptable, but theory-only knowledge is insufficient.
• Experience working with APIs and Python.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the energy industry, including energy trading, utilities, or power systems.
• Experience with geospatial data.
