TL;DR
Software Factory Architect (Azure): Designing software development lifecycles and end-to-end architectures for complex public sector IT projects with an accent on enterprise-scale cloud-native systems. What you will do
- Provide high-level consultations in software engineering and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Design the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and evolve the engineering vision across the software factory.
- Review and recommend decisions for end-to-end software solution architectures for complex projects.
- Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and enterprise-wide best practices.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of architectures across the entire enterprise.
- Mentor senior engineers, development leads, and other architects.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience, with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
- Master's degree (Level 7) in an ICT-relevant field.
- At least two certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), or equivalent.
- Security clearance (EU Restricted) required from day one.
- English proficiency: B2.
- Proven experience designing cloud-native and enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD strategies, containers, and platform engineering.
Nice to have
- Experience modelling systems using ArchiMate notation.
- Hands-on experience with .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
