What you will do

• Plan and execute manual functional, integration, and regression tests for critical enterprise applications.
• Perform backend and database-focused testing, validating data flows and transformations.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data and investigate defects.
• Test REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless system integration.
• Analyze application logs and database records to identify root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and Product Owners within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a Manual Tester or QA Engineer.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including JOINs, subqueries, and GROUP BY.
• Experience testing backend or data-driven applications with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL).
• Proven experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar QA tools.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Python.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience within financial services or payments domains.
