What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the Advanced Portfolio in Aging and Geroscience globally.
  • Commission high-quality papers and build collaborative relationships with leading global researchers.
  • Manage the peer review process and final decision-making for manuscripts submitted to Advanced Science.
  • Launch and oversee the management of new Advanced spin-off titles as the brand expands.
  • Lead a team of in-house editors and drive the strategy for the Aging cluster.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement brand-enhancing events and initiatives.

Requirements

  • PhD in Aging or related biomedical areas (Post-doctoral experience preferred).
  • Professional experience in manuscript handling, including peer review, appeals, and integrity cases.
  • Deep academic subject-matter expertise in the field of Aging.
  • Proven track record of engaging with top-tier research talent via a strong global network.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
