What you will do

• Develop and maintain infrastructure and pipelines for firm-wide data use.
• Work on production code following a full-cycle development, testing, and release process.
• Apply programming and analysis skills to maintain and develop data solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced data engineers and receive guidance from a dedicated mentor.
• Utilize Agile methodologies for daily software deployments.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Python development on Linux platform.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily software deployments.
• Passion for building optimal solutions from scratch rather than assembling libraries.
• Knowledge of data pipelining and database management to ensure data integrity.
• Comfortability with Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Past internship or professional experience in a data engineering role.
• Advanced coursework in algorithms and data structures.
• Exposure to data analytics tools such as Pandas.
