What you will do

• Ship new features for the Voyage Calculator product end-to-end.
• Build and maintain backend services with clean domain boundaries.
• Implement consistent and polished frontend experiences using modern frameworks.
• Ensure high quality by covering functionality with solid E2E tests.
• Own monitoring and alerting to meet defined SLAs and SLOs.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineering crews.

Requirements

• English: Excellent command of written and spoken required
• 3-5 years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Frontend experience with a modern framework (Vue 3 preferred, React acceptable).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Exposure to domain-driven or hexagonal architecture.
• Experience with Scala or Python in production.
• Background in building complex, data-heavy applications.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or Mapbox.
• Exposure to the maritime, commodities, or logistics domain.
