What you will do

• Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers, including patching, upgrading, and scanning.
• Review firewall configurations and other security device settings to ensure network integrity.
• Manage change requests for network modifications to maintain continued connectivity of security systems.
• Integrate cybersecurity controls into various Information Technology projects.
• Ensure seamless interoperability of security tooling across a mix of cloud and on-premises environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering or 12+ years of commensurate experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a cybersecurity engineering role.
• 5+ years of operational experience with Linux/Windows servers, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and WAF.
• 2+ years of experience integrating IT projects using commercial cloud providers and automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Python with at least 1 year of demonstrated professional experience.
• Ability to attain and maintain an AOUSC Public Trust clearance.
• Detailed understanding of RMF, NIST 800-53 rev 5, and the Cybersecurity Framework.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Experience with traditional and Azure Active Directory.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect, CCNP/CCIE, or CISSP.
