Salary: $150,931.00 - $211,303.05

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate cryptographic key management infrastructure for space programs.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Hardware teams to deliver secure and reliable key management solutions.
• Ensure all systems meet strict mission requirements and regulatory standards.
• Support the protection of hirify.global's most sensitive communications, data, and mission systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic systems, key management infrastructure, or PKI.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, C, C++, or Golang.
• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) such as Thales Luna, Entrust nShield, or AWS CloudHSM.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or equivalent legal status required per Export Control Regulations.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience with COMSEC operations and government key management systems (EKMS, SKL, KMI, DIAS).
• Experience with cloud-based KMS (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud KMS, or HashiCorp Vault).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCE, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or government program environments.
