What you will do

• Lead and develop cross-functional data and platform teams, owning delivery and technical outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Analytics, and Data Science/ML teams to translate AI and business requirements into a scalable roadmap.
• Evolve data engineering processes, including CI/CD, testing, data quality, and release management.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for hybrid infrastructure (batch, streaming, and lakehouse).
• Ensure high availability, observability, and reliability of production pipelines and platform services.
• Mentor engineers and drive team scaling initiatives to foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead.
• Strong background in financial systems, FinTech, or other high-reliability regulated domains.
• Expertise in data modeling, distributed data processing, and pipeline orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with the modern data stack (batch/streaming processing, orchestration, and warehousing).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for data workloads.

Nice to have

• Experience building platforms for AI/ML workloads (feature stores, MLOps, vector stores).
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput data systems.
• Exposure to trading or market-data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance (PII handling, audit) in financial environments.
