What you will do

• Translate business objectives and product requirements into scalable backend engineering solutions.
• Design, implement, and deploy end-to-end systems using Java and Kotlin.
• Develop internal admin tools utilizing React for the frontend.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and ML teams to identify opportunities and define success metrics.
• Lead system proposals from problem definition and design through to monitoring and documentation.
• Integrate AI tools to empower development and improve the quality of results.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in high-scale architectures and high output efficiency.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and common frontend stacks like React.
• Experience navigating complex, large-scale codebases.
• Solid background in IaaS, Cloud infrastructure, and SaaS.
• Business-level English proficiency for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Japanese language proficiency.
• Familiarity with ML-related fields or Android/iOS development.
• Experience as a product owner for a personal application.
