Data Specialist

Location: Beijing or Shanghai, China; 5 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Analyze customer requirements and design implementable, maintainable data solutions.
• Assess data accuracy across large data sets and diverse formats.
• Research, design, and document data specifications throughout the production life cycle.
• Apply data models, database design practices, and entity relationship diagrams.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, including acquiring, transforming, and loading data from multiple systems.
• Recommend system enhancements based on technical performance and information management analysis.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and other data programming languages.
• Understanding of software development and web technologies.
• Knowledge of database systems, physical database design, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured information and support information architecture improvements.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and the agile development life cycle.
• Ability to work in the office five days per week in Beijing or Shanghai, China.
