What you will do
- Develop and execute design verification and validation plans for smart sensor products.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test systems, scripts, fixtures, data acquisition systems, and reporting tools.
- Perform functional, environmental, reliability, EMC, and compliance testing for electromechanical products.
- Lead First Article Inspection activities and support manufacturing validation and product readiness.
- Coordinate China-specific and global regulatory testing with external laboratories.
- Analyze test results, investigate root causes, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering, quality, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in product testing, validation, or test automation.
- Experience with electromechanical products, sensors, or embedded systems.
- Proficiency with Python, LabVIEW, or similar automation tools, plus experience with AI tools.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with environmental, EMC, reliability, or regulatory testing.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspection, quality systems, and manufacturing test processes.
- Experience working with China-based suppliers, manufacturing teams, or compliance agencies.
- Familiarity with Agile development and Jira.
