AWS Solutions Architect (EdTech)

Focus on bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation through microservices, serverless, and IaC.

What you will do

• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to understand business needs and define cloud transformation goals.
• Design scalable and cost-effective AWS architectures using ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and EventBridge.
• Create target architectures and migration roadmaps for transitioning legacy monoliths to cloud-native systems.
• Automate environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Establish and improve logging, monitoring, and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Optimize AWS costs and resource utilization through continuous analysis and financial modeling.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Strong background in application development or architecture (PHP, Java, or similar).
• Proven experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration (ECS and/or EKS).
• English: Proficient level required.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry, X-Ray).
• Knowledge of performance optimization at both application and infrastructure levels.
• AWS or DevOps certifications (DevOps Engineer, Security, SysOps).
• Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments.
