What you will do

• Develop native filesystem-level code interfacing with storage backend C APIs, bridged into Go services via CGO.
• Implement low-level file and metadata operations, including handles, attributes, and locking.
• Engineer correctness-critical logic for partial failures and rollbacks to ensure system consistency.
• Manage concurrency and locking correctness across shared filesystem states.
• Debug and root-cause distributed system issues using system traces and logs.

Requirements

• Strong C++ fundamentals, including memory management, pointers, and structs.
• Experience with systems-level programming involving file I/O, networking, or OS-level APIs.
• Proficiency in handling concurrency, locks, race conditions, and deadlock avoidance.
• Methodical debugging habits with a strong priority on data correctness over shipping speed.
• Ability to read, maintain, and extend existing native codebases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go (Golang) and CGO bindings.
