TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Tel Aviv, Israel) - 3 days in office required

What you will do
- Design and optimize scalable, reliable backend services using Go.
- Develop microservices for connectivity and data synchronization between financial institutions and internal systems.
- Build resilient systems utilizing AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases with a focus on performance and data integrity.
- Implement event-driven communication using AWS SQS/SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents and performance bottlenecks to ensure system stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and scalable system design.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and cloud-native development using AWS and Docker.
- Experience with message queues and asynchronous workflows.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Tel Aviv office under a hybrid model.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or Terraform/CDK.
- Background in fintech, data aggregation, or connectivity platforms.
- Experience integrating with banking APIs or third-party financial systems.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
