Director / Sr. Director - Digital Engineering

Location: Seattle, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, or Dallas, United States. Travel is required as needed for client engagements and business development.

Salary: $180,000–$280,000 base compensation per year, with potential additional incentives, bonuses, or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead strategic client engagements and large-scale Digital Engineering and Product Engineering transformation programs.
• Identify, develop, and close business opportunities through proposals, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and contract pursuits.
• Develop engineering transformation strategies, roadmaps, target operating models, governance structures, and execution frameworks.
• Lead Product Engineering and Engineering Software transformation delivery, including PMO, VRO, and governance functions.
• Build executive-level client relationships, expand accounts, and identify project extension and cross-capability opportunities.
• Grow and scale the practice by attracting, mentoring, and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of consulting, industry, or Digital Engineering leadership experience, including large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience establishing and leading major Product Engineering transformation programs and large Engineering Software engagements.
• Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing technologies, and Engineering transformation.
• Strong experience with business development, sales pursuits, proposal development, revenue growth, and multi-capability consulting engagements.
• Knowledge of AI, GenAI, and data-driven approaches for engineering and product development, including applying them to decision-making, automation, and operational performance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, Engineering, or related master’s degree is preferred.
