Fraud Operations Team Leader – Fraud Intelligence (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Fraud Operations team while fostering a data-driven, research-oriented culture.
• Generate research-driven insights and oversee gap analyses to identify weaknesses in fraud detection processes and models.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, production-ready analytical updates with measurable impact.
• Coordinate with R&D, BI, Product, Support, and Management as the primary cross-functional interface.
• Guide adoption of AI-powered tools and modern analytical practices.
• Communicate with senior leadership and maintain focus during complex operational situations.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on Data Analyst experience with proven leadership experience; experience managing or professionally leading analysts is strongly preferred.
• Experience working responsibly in production-sensitive environments, containing complex operational situations, and driving practical resolution across teams.
• Proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, visualization and statistics packages.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large production datasets.
• Proficiency in using LLM-based tools in day-to-day work.
• Strong communication, mentoring, problem-solving, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in identity verification or fraud detection.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and automation workflows.
