Salary: $147,000–$296,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable on-premise multi-tenant data center environments.
• Act as the lead technical authority and subject matter expert for Tier 1–3 technical escalations and critical issue resolution.
• Drive the implementation of virtualization and automation solutions to optimize IT service delivery.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for operational systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven expertise in software virtualization technologies, specifically VMware and Hyper-V.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic IT planning and roadmap execution for enterprise operational systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures combining on-premise data centers, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and edge computing.
• Track record of driving IT process improvements through software automation.
