TL;DR

Safeguards Enforcement Analyst (Integrity & Authenticity): Build and execute enforcement workflows for detecting and mitigating AI misuse, including coordinated inauthentic behavior, election manipulation, and targeting, tracking, and surveillance of individuals. Focus on designing scalable automated enforcement systems with high accuracy, reviewing flagged content, and partnering with Engineering and Data Science to optimize detection and policy enforcement at scale.

Location: Remote-Friendly, United States; San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY | Washington, DC

Salary: $285,000 - $330,000 USD (annual)

What you will do

  • Design and architect automated enforcement systems and review workflows that scale while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to optimize detection models and automated enforcement systems for policy violations.
  • Review flagged content to drive enforcement actions and improve policies.
  • Enforce usage policies focused on AI-enabled influence operations, coordinated inauthentic behavior, election interference, and targeting/tracking/surveillance harms.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the Safeguards policy design team based on real enforcement scenarios and policy gaps.
  • Stay current on AI policy enforcement best practices, evolving threat actor tactics, and election/privacy/surveillance regulatory developments to inform workflows.

Requirements

  • Experience in trust & safety, policy enforcement, threat intelligence, or a closely related field, focused on influence operations/disinformation, coordinated inauthentic behavior, election integrity, or privacy/surveillance harms.
  • Experience standing up and scaling policy enforcement or content review workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other data analysis tools to derive insights from large datasets.
  • Experience identifying emerging risks and threat actors and communicating findings to Product, Policy, Engineering, and Legal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with generative AI products, including writing effective prompts for content review and enforcement.
  • Understanding of implementing product policies at scale in the content moderation space.
