Location: Hybrid (San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Amsterdam) with 3 days/week in-office requirement for residents; Remote roles require 1x per quarter in-person attendance.

Compensation: $195,000 – $265,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own and evolve the developer platform, including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and build systems.
• Build application-platform primitives, frameworks, and abstractions to enable high-quality product development.
• Develop tooling for sandboxes, preview environments, and fast feedback loops for engineers and AI agents.
• Improve developer-facing observability and on-call health to ensure faster diagnosis and fewer pages.
• Drive investment in AI-assisted and agent-driven development primitives.
• Partner with security teams to ensure infrastructure and workflows are safe by default.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, specifically owning developer or application platforms at scale.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), containers, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to build reliable platforms that improve the day-to-day experience of other engineers.
• Experience taking open-ended, ambiguous problems and driving multi-quarter initiatives to completion.
• Strong interest in defining the future of AI-assisted and agent-driven development.
