What you will do

• Lead the ideation, development, and productionalization of sophisticated AI solutions tailored for healthcare payer use cases.
• Architect and implement complex AI models and algorithms using Python and GCP Vertex AI.
• Partner with product teams and stakeholders to define and prioritize AI opportunities for process automation.
• Develop robust, scalable, and efficient code bases for deploying AI models into production environments.
• Serve as a technical advisor to internal lines-of-business, translating complex needs into actionable AI solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on AI development and system design best practices.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Master's or PhD strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology or software engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning, and AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models).
• Expert proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying and managing ML models in cloud environments (GCP Vertex AI preferred, AWS SageMaker or Azure ML acceptable).
