What you will do

• Maintain quality management practices for satellite subsystem development to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct incoming inspections, quarantine defective components, and resolve non-conformances with engineering and supply chain teams.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements in the manufacturing and assembly of satellite products.
• Develop inspection and testing procedures to verify the quality of components, sub-assemblies, and final systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, inspection reports, and quality metrics for management tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Quality Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing within aerospace or defense sectors.
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and tools.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Toronto, Ontario; position is contingent upon program award.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ECSS, MIL, or IEC standards.
• Experience with NetSuite Quality Management Software (QMS).
• Experience in supplier quality management and conducting audits.
