What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications using React, Vue, Node.js, and Python (FastAPI/Flask).
• Develop secure APIs and MCP servers using RESTful patterns and OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
• Optimize database schemas and performance for Microsoft SQL Server.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes within AWS environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical vision and product goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with 3+ years using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Production experience with Node.js, Python, and MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and Terraform/OpenTofu.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in one of the following states: AL, CA, DE, DC, FL, GA, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch.
• AI-assisted development tools or machine learning ETL pipelines (Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience developing mobile applications using Flutter.
• Experience working within legislative or government technology environments.
