What you will do

• Implement and support large-scale DNS architecture across private and public clouds including Infoblox DDI, Cloudflare, GCP, and AWS DNS.
• Manage multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters leveraging BareMetal servers and software-defined storage protocols.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python, and Bash via CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop continuous delivery pipelines for infrastructure updates, including patch management and rollback procedures.
• Create automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps and observability stacks like Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and performance analysis across hypervisors, backend storage, and networking layers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing global DNS and Kubernetes on Linux operating systems.
• Expertise with Infoblox DDI systems, Bind9, CloudFlare, and cloud-native DNS services (GCP/AWS).
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Ubuntu Linux systems.
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong systems engineering background in RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Background in telco, edge cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of security compliance best practices (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Experience building automated test environments for DNS migrations and system upgrades.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
