What you will do

• Design and maintain on-premises cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Enforce Zero Trust security requirements and mitigate CVEs within the development lifecycle.
• Provision and integrate resources across cloud and virtualization platforms such as AWS and vSphere.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a similar role.
• Knowledge of on-premises cloud technologies like OpenStack, VMware, or Azure Stack.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration platforms such as Rancher.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix system administration and monitoring tools like Prometheus or ELK.

Nice to have

• Security+ certification.
• Experience deploying SaaS and PaaS services.
• Advanced coding skills beyond basic scripting.
