What you will do

• Set the technical direction and own the architectural decisions for AI features across the product.
• Build and ship agentic features such as conversational search, BI, and AI-driven course generation.
• Coach and mentor a growing team of AI engineers, managing their performance reviews and career paths.
• Optimize AI systems for real-world constraints, specifically reducing per-request cost and improving latency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate product vision into technical execution.
• Prototype and deploy advanced capabilities, including new modalities and real-time collaboration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered systems in a production environment.
• Proven track record as a tech lead, mentor, or coach for a team of engineers.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI, Pydantic AI, and Azure OpenAI.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and LLM observability tools like Langfuse.
• Must be based in France for remote or hybrid employment.
• English proficiency: B2 level or higher; French B2 or equivalent.
