Location: Remote-friendly within a 3-hour flight from Paris (monthly visits). Relocation support up to €10k + visa sponsorship for France-based positions

What you will do

  • Own the long-term ML strategy, including training foundational models from scratch.
  • Provide team leadership by scaling the team while maintaining culture and excellence.
  • Ensure technical excellence through code review, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Drive breakthrough innovation to redefine industry standards.
  • Balance cutting-edge research with rapid product impact.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between ML and Product/Sales/Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading ML/AI teams at product companies with strategic decision-making experience
  • Deep Computer Vision + Diffusion/GenAI expertise with hands-on large model training
  • Foundational model training experience - billion+ parameter models end-to-end
  • Team scaling experience - 8+ people, proven hiring and mentorship track record
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Technical depth for mentorship
