Software Engineer (Scala/Java)

What you will do

• Define and evolve the future of Core Data architecture in the cloud.
• Design novel approaches to address scale and observability challenges.
• Develop services to identify and eliminate data inconsistencies or corruptions.
• Guide client engineering teams on optimizing near-real-time interfaces.
• Drive wider adoption of data interfaces across the engineering organization.
• Implement initiatives to ensure systems meet availability, performance, and reliability SLOs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and code design principles.
• Deep grasp of high-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, MySQL, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Must be based in or able to work from the assigned office (minimum 3 days per week).
