Tester2 (Gaming QA)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; onsite role

Salary: 4,325 RON gross per month

What you will do

• Perform functional, exploratory, usability, compatibility, and regression testing for mobile, PC, and console games.
• Review project goals and testing strategies, identifying risks before testing begins.
• Execute test cases accurately and use established and innovative methods to find high-value defects.
• Create concise defect reports with supporting information and root cause analysis.
• Communicate quality risks and dependencies and provide constructive feedback on game playability and team processes.
• Manage assigned testing workloads and adapt to changing project priorities.

Requirements

• Prior QA experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies on at least two gaming titles.
• Experience testing games from pre-alpha through live operations.
• Knowledge of test case creation and basic test planning.
• Strong defect identification, reporting, attention to detail, workload management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and verbal English and flexibility to work outside traditional office hours when required, including 11:00–20:00 shifts.
