QA Analyst (Gamedev)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to London (Here East, E15 2GW) for a hybrid working model (2-3 days per week in studio).

What you will do

• Implement and iterate on test plans and scripts to ensure high-quality releases.
• Execute exploratory and destructive testing to identify and document bugs.
• Produce test progress reports for QA leads, highlighting risks and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote a bug-prevention philosophy.
• Liaise with Customer Service and stakeholders to investigate and prioritize player-reported issues.
• Estimate the severity of identified issues to assist in development planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA, with preference for games industry background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and adaptability.
• Proven problem-solving skills and interpersonal empathy.
• Must be able to work on-site in London 2-3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Relevant games industry qualification or practical experience in design, art, or animation.
• Knowledge of console (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) or mobile (iOS, Android) platform standards.
• Relevant test certifications such as ISTQB or ASTQB.
• Experience with functional/non-functional testing and automation tools.
