Data Scientist (Clinical/Medtech)

What you will do

• Train ML models and shape their presentation within the product in collaboration with UX, frontend, and product teams.
• Design and execute retrospective and impact analyses to demonstrate the clinical value of the products.
• Translate clinical requirements into modeling decisions and communicate model behavior in clinical language.
• Act as the primary expert for the interpretation of clinical data and prioritize DS efforts from a clinical perspective.
• Contribute to product discovery through independent experiments or by supervising interns.
• Validate and tailor data pipelines and models for deployment in new hospital environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with clinical data or in a clinical environment.
• Solid fundamentals in Data Science and Machine Learning using Python (Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU).
• Strong communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders and a product-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Polars, PySpark, or LightGBM.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, SQL, VueJS, or Docker.
• Knowledge of medical and information security regulations.
