What you will do

• Gather and translate business and data requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Analyse credit and collateral data using SQL to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Validate ETL processes and perform comprehensive data testing (unit, regression, and acceptance).
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, future-proof data products.
• Support production issue investigations through SQL analysis and Python code review.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Modeler, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Amsterdam/Amstelveen, Netherlands.
• Strong SQL proficiency (complex queries, joins, aggregations).
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Knowledge of ETL validation, data mapping, and data lineage.
• Basic understanding of Python for debugging existing code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
• Proficiency with JSON.
• Domain expertise in Credit Risk, Lending, Mortgages, or Regulatory Reporting (Basel/IFRS).
• Knowledge of collateral registration and valuation processes.
