Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the EU (Remote) or Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Deploy and run backend services and Kubernetes infrastructure within customer environments.
• Support customers with on-premise and air-gapped operations, including internal QA staging on VMs/Bare-metal.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using IaC (Terraform, Nix, Ansible, Concourse, GitHub Actions).
• Maintain documentation services and reproduce customer-specific issues.
• Ensure 24/7 service reliability and contribute to various open-source upstream projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in SRE, Networking, or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience supporting on-premise product deployments.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Linux troubleshooting, and IaC (Terraform, Helm).
• Proficiency in at least one language: Haskell, Rust, C, Java, or Go.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization platforms including Docker, KVM, and LXC.
• English: Fluency required (C1).

Nice to have

• Experience managing Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, or RabbitMQ.
• Fluency in German and/or French.
