What you will do
- Design and develop custom builds and product customisation by translating high-level designs into component-level implementation.
- Provide L3 solution support for OSS Operations during major incidents with corrective fixes via in-house development or configuration changes.
- Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, build/deployment tooling, and non-production environments (Dev, Test, UAT, SIT) aligned to production/DR/PPT.
- Use observability and APM tooling (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch) to monitor platform health and drive corrective action.
- Coordinate outsourced development by managing supplier deliverables while retaining source code ownership for .
- Lead small developer teams (vendor/contractor) for custom build delivery projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development/engineering.
- Minimum 5 years managing ITIL Service Management platforms and solutions.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE application development and relational database design, schema optimisation, and query performance.
- Proficiency across Python, Groovy, Go, and JavaScript, plus knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, AngularJS).
- Experience with ITIL Service Management platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent) and OSS Assurance sub-domains (fault, performance, configuration, service, customer experience).
- Knowledge of integration middleware/messaging (Kafka, NiFi, REST APIs), container/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD/release tooling (Ansible, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
