What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain regulatory systems supporting telecommunications legislation and national interest initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end solution delivery from architecture and development through to operations and lifecycle management.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for government agencies and stakeholders to ensure platform reliability.
• Maintain and enhance secure, highly available, and scalable systems infrastructure.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance activities for sensitive environments.
• Drive continuous improvement using automation and modern engineering practices.

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Government security clearance.
• Proven experience in systems or infrastructure engineering, preferably in telecommunications or regulated industries.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, infrastructure, and network technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to design and support secure, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with 4G/5G networks and data analytics.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
