Salary: €3,546 – €5,538 gross per month.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and specialized research infrastructure.
• Support research facilities, including hardware/software environments and audio-visual equipment.
• Deploy and manage project-specific servers, cloud VMs, and AI-related computing platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide rapid support for research and teaching activities.
• Coordinate infrastructure requests and act as a liaison between researchers and central ICT services.
• Maintain technical documentation and manage hardware/software asset inventories.

Requirements

• MSc degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience with Linux system administration in complex environments.
• Solid knowledge of networking, firewalls, system security, and access management.
• Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with database administration, backup strategies, and data recovery.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical users.
