What you will do

• Define and execute the QA strategy for backend services, APIs, and critical product workflows.
• Design and maintain test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Validate data integrity and application behavior using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and maintain automated test suites.
• Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to identify risks and ensure release readiness.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer working on backend services and REST APIs.
• Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Practical knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Professional level of English required
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Java backend ecosystems (Spring Boot, Maven).
• Experience with Playwright or contract testing.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
