What you will do

• Create and maintain mortgage lending policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Build and scale global underwriting systems balancing risk, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Manage credit limits, risk-based pricing, and retention strategies using data-driven insights.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance and consistency in decision-making.
• Support annual budgeting, sales forecasting, and market trend assessments.
• Provide training and mentorship to foster a strong risk culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ireland.
• Proven track record in managing credit risk for mortgage products or similar retail lending.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Maths, Engineering, Statistics).
• Solid understanding of credit policy governance and risk modeling.
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply and work effectively across 2nd/3rd lines of defense.
