What you will do

• Design and implement scalable software solutions within a distributed microservices architecture.
• Break down large initiatives into parallelizable tasks and oversee their execution through the Agile SDLC.
• Improve core product builds, CI/CD pipelines, and overall engineering standards.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define the product architecture roadmap.
• Provide mentorship through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Colombia.
• Strong experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Gradle.
• Expertise in building highly distributed microservice architectures in public cloud environments (AWS).
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and complex SQL queries.
• Strong English communication skills required.
• Experience with test-driven development and HTTP APIs (REST/GraphQL).

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular/TypeScript, Serverless Framework, and trunk-based development.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and NX monorepos.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cypress or RestAssured.
