What you will do

• Monitor battery quality performance metrics and proactively identify high-impact issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Develop and track data-driven metrics for corrective action effectiveness.
• Create innovative tools and processes to enhance quality control and scalability.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and products.
• Lead MRB meetings and represent quality within the engineering change control board.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality engineering involving batteries or equivalent products.
• Strong understanding of quality core tools including APQP, SPC, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Familiarity with ISO-9001:2018 or IATF 16949 standards is highly desired.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certifications (Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor, or Manager).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Understanding of electric vehicle battery technology and thermal systems.
