Lead Industrial Automation & Integration Specialist

What you will do

• Design and develop advanced PLC programs using structured, modular, and scalable architectures.
• Lead the development of high-performance HMI/SCADA interfaces focused on usability, data visualization, and operational reliability.
• Architect integrations between PLC/HMI systems and enterprise databases, historians, MES, and reporting platforms.
• Own projects from conceptual design and electrical strategy through onsite testing, validation, and final commissioning.
• Review control strategies, electrical designs, and documentation for compliance with safety standards, industrial regulations, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Lead automation projects and mentor junior and intermediate engineers on design and troubleshooting practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least eight years of hands-on experience in PLC/HMI programming and industrial automation.
• Expert PLC programming skills and demonstrated experience leading complex commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, control system design, and plant-level integration.
• Experience with multiple industry-standard PLC/SCADA platforms and high-speed automation systems.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors on technical and business objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating automation systems with MES and SQL-based databases.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards such as SIL and ISO.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices.
