What you will do
- Design and develop advanced, modular PLC programs and enforce programming standards.
- Lead the development of high-performance HMI/SCADA interfaces with a focus on data visualization.
- Architect holistic solutions bridging PLC/HMI layers with enterprise systems like databases and historians.
- Manage full-lifecycle projects from conceptual design to onsite testing and final commissioning.
- Review and approve electrical designs and control strategies to ensure safety and cybersecurity compliance.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers on design best practices and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in PLC/HMI programming and industrial automation.
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Expert-level PLC programming capability and experience leading complex system commissioning.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and plant-level system integration.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with MES and SQL-based database integration.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (SIL, ISO).
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity best practices.
