Senior Fullstack Developer (React / Node / AWS)

Location: Remote, Kenya or South Africa; working hours aligned with U.S. Business Hours

hirify.global is hiring on behalf of a client for a full-stack engineering role focused on scalable product development.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end product features across responsive front-end applications, back-end APIs, business logic, and databases.
• Develop interfaces with React, Angular, or Vue and implement state management with Redux, Context API, or Vuex.
• Design RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using Node.js, Django, Flask, or Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB data layers and implement Redis caching.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain 80%+ automated test coverage.
• Deploy and operate applications through CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and production reliability practices while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js experience.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and production-ready APIs.
• Understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be located in Kenya or South Africa and work U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or product-based applications.
• Docker, Terraform, microservices, serverless architectures, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure experience.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
